Hi All,

Following on from a conversation with John from MSFT below, are there any
cards that support GDI+ acceleration? And more importantly how is this
possible?

Snooping around Google I found this link with a comparison table

Inside they say GDI+ accelerated for 3 competing (very nice) graphcis cards.
Elsewhere, FI on the Matrox site it says that their new Parhelia is GDI+ 2.0
ready. This raises a whole lot of questions - will GDI+ 2.0 be hardware
accelerated, will it be available as managed classes in the next release of
..net etc?

Any comments most welcome!

I hardly think that converting GDI+ to fully managed classes would help with
speed.
