I can't seem to find a news group called
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.vb there are csharp and asp but howcome
not a VB?? is there any way to get one?? and how can I get one if there is a
way??

That is because there is no such group :P try

microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb.controls
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb.data
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb.upgrade

The Languages.VB group is so unstructured and popular that everyone asks any
old question in there.

Personally, I'm with you inasmuch as I think there ought to be a litle more
differentiation
