dotnet remoting : Security error when use secure = "true" on 2 workstations (dotnet 2.0)

I like new security futures of dotnet 2.0. But they work only if workstation
is joined to domain and server is placed on the server, or when two
workstations are using a common user.

This is great for internal network software, but is not possible to use when
clients and the server are using workstations in workgroup mode (Windows XP
Home for example) - I've got security error.

I want to use secure channel (encrypted and signed) and do not want to use
Active Directory at all. It is possible? Or again I must search for custom
SSL channels...

Please use examples (for config files or source code).
Thanks.

I asked the same thing a few weeks ago. Look for the thread titled
"Unknown Clients", specifically my posts on Jan 13th.

Thanks Rayan,

I found your post, but as I can see you need user and password to get access
to the server. I realy do not want to do this.
So i have some OpenSSL channels built on C++ (and can be used from dotnet)
and will use them. Microsoft just want to use only they own servers to get
thinks to work :) But I want to built client and server that are not
dependant on IIS, Active Directory or other expensive servers...

Thanks! Your post is the only that give some hope.
