Hi all,

Is .NET 2.0 Remoting compatible with .NET 1.1?

Can a 2.0 client connect to a 1.1 Remoting service?

Yes. But there is a known problem related to the serialization format of the
System.DateTime Type. You may need to apply a patch to the machine running
the server.
