Hello,

I am trying to create a key for a com+ object I have written, but I keep
getting the error message:

Failed to create c:PJ\Parameter Janitor -- Access is denied.

I have granted full rights to the machineKeys folder, but it doesn't seem to
have helped.

I am running .NET Framework v1.1 on a 2000 box.

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

OK. I just followed John Paul's answer in 'Where to find sn.exe in VS.NET',
and the key was created. So... Thank you John!

BUT, that doesn't stop not being able to create a key from the regular cmd
window from begin ridiculous.

In any case, I'm mostly just glad it worked.

Scott
