dotnet web services enhancements: Hi Everyone,

Why would I end up with empty copies of these files:
OutputTrace.webinfo and InputTrace.webinfo
when tracing is enabled?
The files are being created, but none of my messages are being traced.
was working yesterday but not today and nothing has been changed or
modified.

Thanks

Hello SQLAgentman,
Is it possible the files are being locked?

Hi Dilip,

Locked? They are not read only, How to find out if locked?
So what I see there is not consistency. At times they can be written to
at times not??.

I had some issues in the past with 2k3 and not xp when indexing server
was locking files temporarly. But this is different.

Thank you

Softwaremaker,

wse- is enabled on both the client and the service.
However,
deleting the files seems to solve this problem, ( may be by luck at
this time )
If files are cleared and not deleted nothing gets written
this could be a feature ( white-bug )

Check to make sure you have wse-enabled your client and/or service
application..
