Dynamic help topic links show properly and search brings up links, but when
any link is clicked I receive a "Page Cannot be displayed message in the
Explorer window and the title bar of Visual Studio reports that it cannot
find server. What server is this? The start page works fine going to the
internet and my normal Internet Explorer is working fine.

you did not install the MSDN Library. The MSDN Library contains the Help
documentation for all of the products in Visual Studio .NET. To use F1 Help,
as well as the table of contents and other documentation features, you must
install Help.

To install Help

In Control Panel, choose Add/Remove Programs.
Select the appropriate product and then choose Change/Remove.
On the main setup screen, click Step 3.
—or—

Insert your MSDN CD and run MSDN setup.

MSDN was installed and I tried repairing and re-installing the July version
(latest I have). As mentioned in first post, the links do show up in the
dynamic help tab and are modified properly when navigating the code. I can
search help and the results pane shows the links to the related topics.

It is only when I click a link that I get the "Page Cannot Be Displayed"
message in the explorer and the Visual Studio main window title says "Cannot
find server".

Thanks.

Glenn
