When it is the first you better can ask this in a "classic" ASP newsgroup

When it is ASPNET than you can probably start your question the best in the
newsgroup
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.ADONet and later when you know how to
retrieve your data to the newsgroup
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.ASPNET

Or both in one time using crossposting, one message too both newsgroups in
one time. Do not sent two messages in one time, most regulars in newsgroups
become irritated by that.
