dotnet general:
While using this website which loads all three for comparison:
http://www.rockstarapps.com/samples/map-compare/

I realized how terrible Virtual Earth imagery is. Microsoft is using Navteq
while Google and Yahoo are using Tele Atlas. I ran two separate queries in
two different counties in Wisconsin. Would --you-- say my observations are
fair?

I'm not sure what this has to do with .Net, but, I prefer GE. Note though
that Navteq and TeleAtlas are the source of road data, not imagery. The
image sources are VE: USGS, GE: Digital Globe, and Yahoo: I-Cubed.

Well, what part of the word "general" don't people understand? The point is
the use of dotnet being used to develop applications that require the use of
mapping.

Thanks for identifying the imagery providers. That is useful information. I
think I'm with you on the GM thing noting GE and GM being different
applications; we need to focus on web pages. This is pathetically
frustrating to want to continue using Microsoft's Virtual Earth (VE) but at
what price to pay (so to speak) when the VE platform is so far behind GM in
all respects and timeliness is so important these days? I hate this
conflict.
