dotnet internationalization : Using Japanese Office 2007 Personal on English Windows Version

I am running Windows XP SP2 - the English version. Is it possible to install
and use the Japanese version of Office 2007 (Personal edition). I have
already an English version of Office XP running with IME to type/write Kanji,
hiragana and katakana.
I would like to make use of the speech features - which are only available
in English on my present configuration.
Is there any other way I can do this beside installing Office 2007 Japanese

I installed Office 2000 Japanese onto Windows XP US-English. I think I
didn't have to touch Windows regional settings first.

I installed Office 97 Japanese onto Windows 2000 MSDN-English. First I had
to change Windows regional settings to favour Japanese, though of course
Windows' own UI remained in MSDN-English.

Therefore my guess is that you'd be able to install Office 2007 Japanese
onto Windows XP the-English (whichever country or distribution is "the").

I guess your last question means to ask whether speech features for Japanese
can be obtained in Office 2007 foreign language versions. For Office 2003 I
think the answer was yes, e.g. I think MSDN-English could handle Japanese,
but I'm not sure because I never tried using it. If you have some reason to
prefer a foreign language version of Office 2007 instead of Japanese, then
surely you should try borrowing one to see if you can get the speech
features you need. I think it will still allow you to invoke each Office
program 50 times without activating a licence.
