The help file for Visual Studio .NET version 1 had a Walkthru for installing
a Windows Service that would monitor a folder.
Version 1.1 does not seem to have that example anymore.

I am using both "perfmon" and GC.GetTotalMemory() to keep track of the heap
memory space usage of the following simple program. Both ways suggest that
