Uchiha,

Is the same thing happens when you browse the network computers in
Exporer? The FolderBrowserDialog is actually Windows Explorer in a box
:)

I have downloaded as many samples of FolderDialogs as possible, tried the
1.1 version in the .NET Framework and the W32Shell API version I have that
used to work and am now stumped.
For some reason I can no longer access network locations from any type of
FolderBrowserDialog I use.

With the .NET 1.1 dialog I get nodes in the my network places section and
have the computer names but when I try to open the computer name node that
node vanishes. Could it be permissions?

My network administrator has recently been experimenting with only using the
Netbui protocol over the network, could this have something to do with it?

If anyone knows i'd be grateful.

Kind Regards
Jax

I could not be anymore moronic, I hadn't logged in to the PC I was trying to
access.
Thanks Philip it was your revelation that made me do it via windows explorer
and enter the credentials, I then go back to my application and it all
works.

D'oh!
