The little virus SWEN monger bots harvest email addresses from the
newsgroups and automatically send emails from infected machines.

You will have to get a new email address.

Dear friends,
Unfortunately, I set my real e-mail in my newsgroup properties. So, after
postponed a message to newsgroup , I have received a lot of e-mail which
have virus.
How can I free of these e-mails?
Thanks, Pejman,

I get e-mail with viruses every day. I use McAfee virus protector, spam
filter, and firewall, and I don't get any problems. Watch out for e-mail
that appears to come from Microsoft and offers you the latest security
patch. Just open the attachment, it says. This is always false because
Microsoft does not send security patches as e-mail attachments, but it looks
real.

On another tack, watch out for e-mail supposedly coming from Earthlink (if
you use it) or e-bay or the like saying that there is some confusion about
your account and you have to send them your credit card info again. This is
an attampt at identity theft.

Hi

What you can do is to put the sender in the blocked sender list. And after
about one or two month, your mailbox will be ok.
This is what I did when I met this problem half year ago.
