Terry,
Hi. Thanks for the response.
What we do is:
1. In the ERP system, create the purchase order and print it to a PDF
document/file
2. Open a fax cover sheet in Word and fill in the supplier details
3. Fax cover sheet and attached PDF via the SBS 2003 fax
This is simple to do but tedious as we need to fill in the fax cover
sheet. We send many faxes each day thus the need to automate this.
From reading various newsgroups it seems that to write a VB.net app to fax
directly from an XP client (modem attached to XP client) is not too difficult
but to send from SBS 2003 server is much harder, if not impossible. We only
have one fax line.
Cheers
Brad
