VB 2005 - Program deployment -- vb.net

I am new to VB 2005 (have been using VB for many years).

Can someone please point me to a tutorial on how to Publish a VB 2005
program for installation from a CD and which gives the user the ability to
choose where it is to be installed?

When I use the Publish option off the VB 2005 menu, I get the setup files
OK, but when you run Setup, it sticks the files somewhere in my c:\Documents
and Settings folder - A part of their so called 'Click-Once' installation
routine, but this seems a bit pointless as I and many others, only use C:\
for my operating system.

Placing 'Publish' in the Search box on the VB Help file comes up with 0
items found :-(
