Are the MS newsgroups being phased out in favour of MSDN forums then?

I've noticed that a WPF group isn't the only thing missing from the MS News
server. There doesn't seem to be anything specific to the new technologies
like WCF, WF, CardSpace etc etc. Nothing even for XAML or Silverlight as
far as I can tell.

Are we all obselete now? :-(
