vb.net: Hi

vs2005 rc. When I try to add a connection to a winform project, I get the
error 'An unexpected error occurred in the .Net Framework Data Provider for
SQL Server Mobile Edition. Please contact the provider vendor to resolve
this problem.'.

How can I fix this?

I wasn't using the SQL Server Mobile Edition at all and ran into this same issue. I uninstalled the SQL Server Mobile Edition from add/remove programs and it appears to have fixed the issue for me. I'm hoping it doesn't affect anything else, but it was better than my alternative which was a complete reinstall. Good luck to anyone else with this issue as I couldn't find any fixes for this myself. But I figured I'd at least post this in the hopes that at least someone else would be able to get past it as I did so far.
