vb.net controls: Hi,

as a VB dummy, I would like to create a wrapper for an ActiveX control
that behaves exactly like the control that I am wrapping. You might
ask if that makes any sense at all. Well, it does: I would actually
like to use my original control in Matlab, but Matlab seems not to
support the IClassFactory2 licensing mechanism required by the
control. As I understand, a wrapper control written in VB should
realize the licensing mechanism for my embedded control automatically.
So can anybody tell me how to do this easily? I need the full
functionality of the control, including resizing.

Are you sure you want to use VB.NET to write ActiveX controls? There
are many limitations and I would use another tool like VB6 to write the
control. Groups for VB6 can be found in the microsoft.public.vb.*
hierarchy.
