vb.net controls : Masking Data Fields

I'm trying to find a way (within dotnet) to mask a SSN or Account Number so
that it will only show the last four but still allow editing of the field.
Is there any such thing out there?

Although this helps me with masking the field for data input, I'm not sure
how this will help me with displaying the data in a specified format once
the data is decrypted.
