Hi,

In Windows Form, I use the DateTimePicker Control.
When I click the DateTimePicker, a calendar will show.
Can I change the language in this calendar? e.g. Mon, Tue, Wed...

Thanks.

James

Hi Martin,

Can I change the Windows Regional settings using VB.Net 2005?
Thanks.

James.

Ney ho, James!

The names of the days and months depends on the Windows Regional
settings. If you have set it to Chinese, it will display them in
Chinese. If it's set to English, it will display them in English.

Best regards,

Martin

Hello James,

I assume you could, but what good would it be? If you distribute your
software and change the regional settings for Windows, the user might
not like that as it has a direct influence on his account (time,
metrics, currency, date). I, for example prefer German settings for my
Windows. If you changed it to English, I would be really MAD at you... ;-)

Best regards,
