vb.net controls: I thought that if I named a control with &controlName, it would appear
underlined and act as a HotKey to that control. Am I missing something
really simple?

No, set the text property and it acts like that.

Hmmmm. Not on my system, using VS2005. Nothing fancy here, just a standard
Windows form.
The buttons are usually in a GroupBox, but have moved them to the form and
still won't work. Have even tried to set in code. They are underlined in
design mode, just not at run-time. Any ideas?

It is a Windows-feature. Just push the ALT-button and they will be
underlined.
