vb.net controls: Hi,

I am writing an application in Visual Studio 2005 (VB.Net) that uses a TWAIN-compatible
scanner. I was wondering how I can detect whether or not the scanner is connected
to the pc.
The application should work under Win XP and Vista.

TIA,

Jos Roijakkers

I can't offer too much help on the Twain stuff but I can recomend that you
have a look at Windows Imaging Architechture (WIA) instead

Using Windows Image Acquisition

vintasoft makes a nice twain-compliant library for .net. that also has a
multi-page tiff component.

another one is atlasoft.
