dotnet datatools: is it posible to run mdac v2.0 on windows 2003 or on a server with .net
framework installed?

Yes, Windows Server 2003 actually comes with MDAC 2.8.

In my experience, the MDAC install detects later versions and doesn't
continue with the install. Mind you, it's quite a while since I installed
v2.0 :-)
