Hello, my name is Gustavo and I want to know:
What one needs to be a good programmer of computers?
Which your advice are to be a good programmer?
How is the logic acquired?
Is it true that people that are good in mathematics are made easier the
programming of Computers, for the logic?
Is it Visual Basic. Net the language easier of learning?

Thank you for your attention.
GUSTAVO from Colombia.

To be a good programmer you need not to be a good mathematician.
Computer will do all mathematics for you. :) And much faster. :)
You have to have just ordinary logic and you have to be creative.
It is easy for artist or musician, etc. to become a programmer.
I am for example musician and programmer simultaneously. :)
Writing a program is like writing a song or picture. It's creative process.

Just start thinking logically and do it every day. :)
Your logic will be evolving.

Prepare yourself to spend a lot of time just learning of new technologies
and tech. info.

I recommend you VB.NET as language of choice.

You don't HAVE to be good at math, but it helps a lot, especially if you
need to do things like statistical analysis, or even (god forbid) Finite
Element Analysis (and yes, I've had to do this in the past, and it made my
brain hurt!!)... Absolute nightmare unless you have either a good grounding
in the math required, or know someone who can help you with the complex
formulae you're going to need...
