INI or XML help

I have upgraded a project from vb6 to vb.net.
I was thinking of using XML instead of the INI
file.
I have tried to make an XML class that do
the same work as my INI class,,read/write/delete. But with not
much success.
- Is this a good approach or should I continue to use INI files?

Is there any way passing a password to crystal report 9.0 from Visual Basic
6.0. so that when loading the report in vb6.0., it can connect to the
database access file and show the report?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered a zillion times already.
I'm converting an app to .NET from VB6, and upon first look, it seems that
the new listview is "missing" some pretty useful functionality, namely a
..Key property for each listitem contained in the listview, and the .... more >>

Can anyone please help with this problem?
The function below works fine in VB6. For VB .NET the constants
vbFromUnicode and vbUnicode no longer exist. The problem is the
DecryptString method takes an ANSI String byref. In VB .NET you only have

What is the simplest, best recommended, upgrade process &
or procedures to go from MS Quick Basic 4.5 (accounting
applications, (nothing to fancy)) to a Windows platform,
presumably Visual Basic?
