vb.net upgrade: Is there a better way to upgrade my VB6 projects to
VB.Net than the default method included in the program.

Joe,
What do you mean the 'default method'????

The upgrade wizard included with VB.NET 2003 supports upgrading VB6 code via
2 methods.

1. Opening the VB6 project in VS.NET
2. Tools - Upgrade Visual Basic 6 Code

The first one, which I consider the default is very easy to use.

The third method is to buy the larger upgrade tools from the upgrade wizards
writers. http://www.aivosto.com/

Of course a number of programmers recommend simply rewriting your code from
the start. IMHO If you have clean VB6 code, the upgrade wizard coupled with
Refactoring http://www.refactoring.com is 'easier' then rewriting. If you do
not have clean VB6 code, then I would recommend rewriting your code also.

Hope this helps
Jay
