vb.net upgrade:
I tried to save my VB.net 7.0 file in my floppy. Then I
reopened it in school computer. My school has VB.net
7.1. When I tried to load the file in the school
computer, it mentioned that I needed to convert the file
first before it loads. Once I converted it, it messed up
my project. On the other hand, I could not load the file.
If any reader read this post and know the answer, please
let me know as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

Once converted, it no longer is useable under VS2002. It can only be used
under VS2003. Is this what you mean by "messed up?"

Make sure that you keep a backup copy of all VS2002 projects. You can port
changes "back" to VS2002, by traditional methods (cut and paste). There is
a technique online, somewhere, that shows how to convert back, in a more
automated way, but I don't have the link. Try google.

You could not load it in VS.NET 2002 any more... What do you mean by
"messed up"?

I found this utility to work wonderfully for converting projects between the
2002 and 2003 versions of VB .NET.
