Hi
I am working on Creating a Window service in VB .Net.
The service is supposed to read the files in a folder on a Network Drive but it does not do anything.
On the Other hand when the same service is used for a Folder on the Local Drive it works perfectly fine.
Any Suggestions will be appreciated.

Is your Service running under the Local System account? If yes, then this
may be the problem. I think that the local system account does not have
network priviledges which prevents it from accessing a network drive. Use
the NetworkService account instead. I am surprised that you didn't get any
