What is the Windows registry hive HKEY_USERS for?

Hi Sathyaish! The HKEY_Users node is for settings that are specific to
each user. Each user has a specific instance of this node that is loaded
when a user logs in. Each user can access his/her own node and therefore can
change the settings in HKEY_Users. The HKEY_Local_Machine node is for
settings that are specific to each computer and do not change when a
different user logs in. Only Administrators can change the values under
HKEY_Local_Machine. Hope this helps and have a great day! :-) Feel free to
ask more questions!
