I am doing some research on the technical issues involved
with importing and compiling Sun Java into Visual
J# .Net. There has to be a white paper somewhere on this
topic, but I have yet to find anything.

Thank You,

I haven't ported much Java code to .NET, but it seems to work okay as long
as the code doesn't use the Java 2 or later classes or methods.

It seems like the original question related to taking Sun
Java (presumably > 1.1.4) class source and compiling it
into .NET assemblies therefore theoretically allowing newer
Java code to seamlessly compile on J#, provided the
resulting assemblies were imported into such projects. I
was wondering about this as well...
