I am using winform datagrid, and want to color specific
row based on the value selected in the combobox placed in
one of the columns of datagrid.

That is if the user selects status values = "DONE" than
color of that row should change to Yellow..something like
that.

I'm not an expert on the Windows Forms Datagrid. There is a BackColor
property but that only affects the even or odd rows, it does not allow you
to set the color of a particular row. You may want to post a question in
the Windows Forms newsgroup they may have some additional information for
you.
