That could turn out to be a huge job. You would have to look up and redefine
all C structs to Java classes if you want to use J/Direct.

The system.net.sockets collection is a rich collection and can do all kinds
of low level socet work (socket, bind, connect, listen etc...) and supports
more protocols than I know of. What do you want to do?




( If I absolutely had to use Win sockets in C, I would have made a .net dll
library in managed C++ and accessed the C socket from there. Made an
interface J# can access. Or, made a socket "engine" in C(+) in COM. )
