Hi

At my school we are going to learn about jsp and for that
purpose we need to install Tomcat in order to execute jsp
and servlets.

Let's get this clear - I don't like Java and I had been
programming C# for almost 3 years now so Java is like
going back to the stoneage again :) So if there is any
chance to avoid tomcat it would be nice...

I've used J# for our GUI and console solutions and it
just worked fine and if you avoid to use the System.*
namespaces i would compile with javac.

My question is: Is it possible to either run jsp/servlets
on IIS or is it possible to program jsp/servlets in J#?

Kind regards

Not quite yet. In the next version of J# ms will add support for JDK1.3 and
J2EE, including servlets.

BTW just go get Eclipse and JBoss (with integrated Tomcat), it's the next
best thing to Visual Studio.
