I now have a problem with Outlook Express and IDENTITIES. I have 2 email
identities: 1 - my main identity and 2. - a second identity. My problem is

Desktop icons suddenly don't work

We've got Windows 2000 on a laptop and suddenly some of the desktop icons
don't work. They are all visible, but when you click on some of them (for
example, Internet Explorer or the recycling bin) the screen refreshes and
then goes back to the way it was without launching any of the apps.

I am running Windows XP Home Edition. I've been trying to install a new game
(Command and Conquer - The First Decade) on my computer using a PCDVD disk.
