dotnet xml : Transfroming wordml to cutom xml

Hi,

I am converting wordml into a custom html. The converted xml is in UTF-8
fromat. But the special characters get garbled in conversion. For Example
they show up as "â?""..

What needs to be done to avoid this.

That sounds like UTF-16, not UTF-8. How doyou transform?
