dotnet distributed apps:

The Updater Application Block documentation mentions that the OS's supported
are Win2000, Win XP and Win 2003... is there any reason why it will not work
on Win98 / WinNT since framework 1.1 works on 98 and NT?

As written, the UAB assumes BITS as the download transport, and BITS is not
available on NT or Windows 98. The architecture allows you to write your own
download component - but you'll need to write that yourself.
