visual studio .net act:
Hi,

I am new to application center test tool. My requirement is testing the
web application and analyzing the result. After running the ACT test
following are the results of the performance counters.

\\webserver\Processor\% Processor Time\_Total

Minimum: 0.00
Maximum: 100.00
Average: 99.29

25th Percentile 99.19
50th Percentile 100.00
75th Percentile 100.00

I have few doubts regarding this result

1. As the value of the processor time is in percent. Does avg 99.29 %
means the processor utilization is bottleneck?

If it is so, what does the percentile values mean?

I am getting higly confused between the average values and the
percentile values and not able to analyze properly.

The urgent help will be highly appreciated.

2. There are 2 requests/sec measures. One is Average request/sec in the
summary report and other is ASP.Net Application

performance counter. Can anybody help me to understand the difference
between the two?

In my case the 2 values are extremely different.

Summary report

Average requests per second: 12.85

Performance counter

\\webserver\ASP.NET Applications\Requests/Sec\__Total__

Minimum: 0.00
Maximum: 14.02
Average: 1.10

25th Percentile 0.45
50th Percentile 0.77
75th Percentile 1.42

The urgent help is higly appreciated. I am stuck at this point.

Thanks in advance.
