VB.NET 2003 - reload symbols not working? Urs Eichmann

visual studio .net debugging: I want to remotely debug a VB.NET 2003 winforms program. If the PDB
files are copies to the same direcoty as the EXE file, it works ok.
However, if the PDB files are outdated, I cannot debug.

I was hoping I can use "reload symbols" in the Modules window. If I do
that, pointing to the PDB file on my local computer, I just get the
message "xxx.EXE no symbols loaded" and everything is as before.

Did I do something wrong? Is this feature not working for VB.NET
projects? Not working at all? Or just not working for remote debugging?
Whatever it is, it would be nice to get a decent message stating what
went wrong, so I wouldn't have to guess.

Best regards,
Urs

Oops, ignore this message. The feature works perfectly - The symbols I
were trying to load were outdated too.... I wonder why I always discover
such things right after posting the message to the whole world :-(
