visual studio .net debugging:

I've seen this on MANY threads on these news groups.

It is a big pain -

Quickly, in any solution (not just web) with multiple projects, this
error when compiling will occur:
"unexpected error creating debug information file"

telling you that some process has the pdb file locked out - which is
not the case.

Not that it matters too much but, VS .Net 2003, Windows XP Pro (all
latest updates).

Not sure if this will help you but I deleted the <project
name>.projdata file in the into the obj\debug directory and everything
worked out fine.

Mind you it took me ages to determine that this was the problem.

Anyway hope this helps
