visual studio .net debugging : Debug Start is SOOO SLOW!

Does anyone have this problem? I have a really nice PC, with plenty of space
& RAM, but my debugger is so very slow to start up in VS.NET 2003.

When I click the play button, I wait anywhere from 1 - 3 minutes for my web
page to appear (or for it to hit the first breakpoint). Once it finally
comes up, the rest of the debugging experience is fine. It just happens when
I click the play button the first time to get to my start page.

Does anyone know if there's a cure for this? It's very frustrating...I'm at
a point where I'm constantly trying different things, so I waste a lot of
time waiting for the page to render.

I don't know the cause, but I have a similar problem. I just created the
"form" project and it did this on the inital compile. I tried hitting "F10"
instead of "F5" to maybe figure out where the problem was. bit just took the
same long delay to hit the first line of code in the app.

The delay is about 16 seconds. I am running a 2.8 gig P4 with the dual
threading enabled and one gig of ram.

When I try this and watch the task manager performance monitor, I don't see
any cpu usage of more than about 10&, and no spike in memory usage at all.

I do a lot of swithing back and forth between edit and debug modes, so I
find this very irritaitiog, and I didn't notice any delay at all in studio 6.

Thanks for nay help.
