installer seems to hang about 50% through 'copying files'
phase.

task manager always reports that the installer is waiting
on a reponse from me, but no message box is available for
me to respond to?

anyone else having this problem? suggestions on how to
reinstall?

Currently have no help in vsnet.

FOR THOSE WHO COME AFTER ME ...
I found the answer to my particular problem.

I use a set of GUI modifications from Stardock.

Apparently, Windowblinds, Webblinds, Objectbar or
something akin to it doesn't play well with VSNET/MSDN
library installer.

It was just a hunch on my part, I de-installed these
packages and the installer appears to be working fine.

Not all the way through, but as I suspected, the prompt
the installer was NOT displaying while these packages were
intalled was for me to insert the next CD.

I'm on CD #3 from the July MSDN library and the install so
far is working OK.

So if you hit the same problem and have stardock
components installed on your machine for eye-candy, try de-
installing them or disabling them temporarily until this
install is complete.

Regards
