MSDN Liibrary Stand alone integrate later? George Hester MVP - IIS

visual studio .net documentation:
I would like to install the MSDN Library April 2003 as a standalone in
Windows 2000 Professional. Then some time later install Visual Studio.NET
2003. If I do that can I choose not to install the MSDN during the setup of
VS.NET 2003 but have it still integrate with the standalone MSDN I installed
previously? Are there any gotchas I should consider and will this work?
Thanks.

Yes, you can do the following:

Install MSDN Library April 2003 or later.
It will work just fine on its own.
Install Visual Studio .NET 2003 sometime later.
Skip Step 3 of the install process (Install MSDN for Visual Studio). Step 3
should in fact be greyed out.
MSDN April 2003 or later should be integrated with Visual Studio when you
launch Visual Studio.
