How to create a desktop shortcut for MSDN library? John Dalberg

visual studio .net documentation:

I installed the Jan 2005 MSDN library and told the installer to integrate
it with vsnet. I need to have a seperate desktop shortcut for MSDN so that
I can use it in a full screen mode. How can I create a shortcut to the toc
page?

Also I have an April 2004 install. Is it ok to delete the 2004APR folder? I
have a 2005JAN now.

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Help\dexplore.exe" /helpcol
ms-help://MS.MSDNQTR.2005JAN.1033

If it's still installed, you should uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs.
Just deleting the directory would leave Windows Installer data behind.
