Visual Studio 2003 Help really slow to load pages

Visual Studio 2003 Help really slow to load pages alik

visual studio .net documentation:
When browsing through the help collection for Visual Studio 2003 each page is
very slow to load eg. when browsing through the class library reference
section and choosing, say, system.xml.xmldocument members page, the page
takes quite a long time to display, although the help is installed on my hard
drive.

Does anyopne else have this problem?

It didn't used to happen, but I think it started after I installed some
windows updates a while ago - could be a security thing?

Thanks for any help

In my experience, slow Help pages is usually due to on-access anti-virus
scanners (such as McAfee). I usually add the folder containing the Help
files to the Exceptions list in McAfee properties.
