visual studio .net documentation : Round Trip Engineering

I am in the process of converting a traditional designed program into an
object oriented designed program. I have recently purchased a copy of VS
2005 and was looking for some guidance steps to use Round Trip Engineering in
thep process. By round trip engineering I am refering to UML updates if the
code is changed and Code updates if the UML is changed. I belive Visio has
this functionaltiy as a newly added feature but I don't know whether or not
Visio actually does a good job of this. I don't want to spend too much time
on getting to know this if the technology isn't really functional. FYI I am
looking to generate c# code.

Hi Greg,

For the issues about the software engineering via Visio, I suggest you ask
it in a more appropriate newsgroupo, you'd get better and quicker help
there:

microsoft.public.visio.software.modeling
microsoft.public.visio.developer

Thanks for your understanding!

Gary,

Thanks for the response, I have posted it to the developer newsgroup but I'm
concerned that that news group isn't managed? Would that mean I wouldn't
necessarily get a response? Is there a MSDN supported group (managed) that
deals with visio instead of going through the office newsgroups?

Thanks again,
Greg P

Hi Greg,

I am afraid we don't provide a managed newsgroup for Visio, but I think
some community members may share their experience with you opn this topic.

Thanks for your understanding!
