visual studio .net enterprise tools: When I try to run a project I get this error
"Could not create the Windows Management Locator object"

From previous posts I understand that this is a permission problem for
ACTUser on the project directory.

However, my documents folder is on a network share, where i cannot (?) add
the machine local ACTUser to the permission list. How do I work around this?

I've seen this issue before.

To resolve it, we moved the project to a local disk. They had mapped the My
Documents folder to a remote server. Or you can create a new
project....and specify a
folder other than My Documents\ACT Projects.

I know of no other way to resolve this.

Please be advised that the correct newsgroup for Application Center Test is:

Microsoft.public.vsnet.act

You should post all your queries, and questions to that newsgroup.
