Hi everyone..

I know that vs .net 2005 is almost out, but I'm still trying to do my mcsd
and I need your help. On amazon.com there's a version of vs .net 2003
called the "special edition". How much different is it from the original?
Reason is I've just bought mcsd core requirements books which are more
geared towards vs.net 2003, and am looking to upgrade my software to 2003
and I'd like to have software that matches the books as much as possible

Out of the people who have had the vs .net 2005 beta on their hands , how
much different is it from vs .net 2003? Should I wait for 2005 to come
out? Does anyone know if the mcsd requirements change when 2005 comes out?
Did the requirements change when microsoft upgraded from vs.net 2002 to vs
..net 2003?

Sorry if this newsgroup wasn't felt appropriate for this question, but this
was the closest I can find. Also I tried to look up the information on
microsoft's website but couldn't find it..

I't áctually better than the standard version, see this page as it includes
a number of extra software packages and other stuff:

It's very different, but I wouldn't expect VS 2005 to fly once released. It
takes a good while for companies to switch to a new versions, so if you need
your MCSD then go for the VS .NET 2003 one.

I honestly can't remember, but it couldn't have been much as there were only
minor changes to the framework.
