visual studio .net enterprise tools : Copying between sequence diagrams results in object corruption

If I try to make a copy of a sequence diagram into a new one (select everything, copy, paste) the resulting copy when edited affects the objects on the original drawing I copied it from (ie: deleting an object on the copy deletes the object on the original).

Hi,

Thanks for posting in the community.

First of all, I would like to confirm my understanding of your issue.
From your description, I understand that you want to make a copy an of
suquence diagram by creating new drawing and select all(Ctrl+A) ,copy and
paste into the new created drawing.
Have I fully understood you? If there is anything I misunderstood, please
feel free to let me know.

Based on my test, if I do it in this way, all the graphics will be copied
to the other drawing and deleting an object on the copy deletes the object
on the original.

If this is not your senario, hope you can descript what you want to do more
detailed. I will appreciate your efforts.

Also if you just wants to make a copy of a drawing, why not copy the vsd
file directly to another one.
