visual studio .net general: Added a setup project to my solution went thru all wizard steps. Run build
and the Windows Installer dialog pops up and runs. It then pops up the error
dialog - error 1706 no valid source could be found for product visual studio
enterprise architect 2003 English. The windows installer cannot continue. I
click ok to that error dialog and then it gets worse as the dang windows
installer dialog won't shut down until I hit cancel on about a dozen more
pop-ups of it.
I reran setup on VS thinking perhaps I didn't install some components needed
for setup projects but the setup shows I have all deployment stuff
installed.

I had the same problem and to fix it I inserted the Visual Studio.net 2003 disk2 into my cdrom drive and then I started building the setup project.
