Do you mean pure 'C' as opposed to 'C++'?

I think you can do it the same way; "File : New : Project : Visual C++
Projects : Win32 Console Application".

You'll then have to make sure you choose options appropriate for pure
'C' programming (calling conventions, includes, linked libs etc).
